The Behavior & Law group is made up of two distinct legal entities. Promoción y Divulgación Científica SL whose objectives are primarily education and the Behavior & Law University Foundation whose objectives are primarily research and outreach. For the purpose of data processing, both entities function together (henceforth identified as Behavior & Law and/or RESPONSIBLE PARTY).

Behavior & Law is the Responsible Party for processing of users personal data and informs them that this data is processed in accordance with provisions in Regulation (UE) 2016/679 of 27 April, 2016 (GDPR) relative to protection of physical persons regarding personal data processing and free circulation of this data, for this reason the following information regarding processing is provided:

Purpose of processing: to maintain a commercial relationship with the User. Expected operations for processing are:

  • Sending commercial communications via email, fax, SMS, MMS, social media or any other electronic or physical media, present or future, which allows for commercial communications. These communications will be carried out by the RESPONSIBLE PARTY and will be related to products and services, or those of its collaborators or providers with which they may have some form of advertising agreement. If this were the case, third parties will never have access to personal data.
  • Carry out statistical studies.
  • Process orders, requests or any form of petition sent by the user through any of the means of contact which are provided.
  • Send news bulletins from the website.

Criteria for data storage: they will be stored as long as a mutual interest exists for the maintenance of the purpose of processing and whenever such data becomes unnecessary for that purpose, it will be deleted with adequate security measures to guarantee pseudonymization of data and complete destruction of it.

  1. MANDATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE USER

Users, through selection of the required boxes and data entry in spaces provided, marked with an asterisk (*) in the contact form or presented through downloadable forms, expressly, freely and unequivocally accept that their data is necessary to respond to their claim, on behalf of the provider, while all remaining spaces provided for information are voluntary. Users guarantee that personal information provided to the RESPONSIBLE PARTY is accurate and are responsible for communicating any change pertaining to that information.

The RESPONSIBLE PARTY informs and expressly guarantees users that their personal information will not be shared, in any case, with third parties, and that if at any point any personal data were shared, express, informed and unequivocal consent will be requested beforehand.
